Foreword

In the context of our commercial relations, Heptalytics is committed to its users to respect privacy and the protection of personal data. In particular, the processing and collection of data are subject to European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (known as the “RGPD”) and to Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on information technology, files and freedoms, as amended (known as the “Loi Informatique et Libertés”). Our commitment is based on a principle of transparency aimed at respecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of our users, in accordance with the regulations in force in France and Europe. The content of this website has been written to present Heptalytics, its activities and solutions.

The purpose of this policy is to inform our users about the categories of personal data we process, how we use it, how long we keep it, the subcontractors and partners to whom we disclose it, and the rights our users have. This privacy policy may be amended or supplemented by us at any time, in particular to comply with any changes in legislation, regulations, case law or technology. In such a case, the date of the update will be clearly identified at the top of this policy. Such changes are binding on the User as soon as they are posted online. It is therefore advisable for the User to consult the present privacy and cookie use policy on a regular basis in order to take note of any changes.

Identity of the data controller

The company responsible for collecting and processing your personal data is Heptalytics, a Société par Actions Simplifiée (simplified joint stock company), registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 980 220 412, with its registered office in France, in Paris, at 64 rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, 75001.

What type of data do we collect?

Personal data is collected on the basis of your consent.

We collect personal data automatically when you log on to our website. The following data is collected: Technical connection information, in particular your IP address, the type and version of your browser, your time zone, the plug-ins installed, the type of terminal you use to connect, the identification number of your terminal, your operating system.

Information about your visits: number of connections, connection times, pages visited, connection times, searches performed, response time, links clicked.

Data from subcontractors: in order to improve our quality of service, we also collect personal data from our subcontractors, in particular advertising agencies or professional databases.

Use of collected data

The data collected is used to implement and develop our products or services, including for the purposes of :

  • IT management, including infrastructure management and business continuity;
  • Personalization of our commercial offers by improving product quality;
  • Personalizing responses to your requests for information;
  • Constitution of a file of registered members, users, customers and prospects;
  • To send newsletters, requests and promotional messages. If you do not wish us to do so, we give you the option of expressing your refusal in this respect at the time of collection of your data;
  • Give us your opinion on the services we offer, so that we can constantly improve them;
  • To compile sales statistics and statistics on the number of visitors to our services, so that we can target our campaigns more effectively and measure their impact and the audience generated.

To whom may your data be transmitted?

Your data is stored exclusively in our databases. Only members of Heptalytics can access it (managers, employees and subcontractors, if any). 

It is not transferred to any third party.

The data collected may be kept for up to one year.

Your rights

You are the only person to have communicated the data in our possession, via our Site.

In accordance with regulations on the protection of personal data, in particular the provisions set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the RGPD, and after proving your identity, you have rights attached to your personal data enabling you to ask us for access to, rectification or deletion of such data concerning you.

‍Right of access: you have the right to receive a copy of all the personal data we hold about you. In such cases, we will provide you with your data in structured form and in an easily readable format.

‍Right to portability: You have the right to receive from us the data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, for the purposes in particular of transmission to a third party.

‍Right of rectification: you have the right to request the correction of any personal data we hold about you if it is incomplete or incorrect. In this case, we may ask you to verify the new data provided.

‍‍Right of deletion: you can ask us to delete your personal data when we no longer have a legitimate interest in holding it. Please note, however, that this right does not apply where we have a legal obligation to retain some of your personal data, for example for anti-money laundering or anti-terrorist financing purposes.

‍Right to limitation: You may in certain cases obtain from us the limitation of processing.

‍Right to object, right to suspend or right to withdraw consent: You may object to the processing, profiling where applicable, or suspend the processing of some of your personal data, for example when we collect it on the basis of our legitimate interest. For personal data that we collect on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note, however, that certain data is essential for the proper functioning of our service.

‍Right to decide what happens to your data post mortem: You can tell us what you would like to happen to your data in the event of your death.

Exercising your rights

You can exercise any of these rights by sending a request to our Data Protection Officer, stating your request and providing us with proof of your identity. In accordance with the provisions of Article 12.3 RGPD our department has one month to reply to you. To this end, we may ask you for additional information or documents.
